CHAMPIONSHIP INFORMATION
Eligibility
Amateur golfers ages 22 years of age and older. Men ages 50 years or older are eligible to compete in the Men's Senior Gross Division. Men ages 65 years or older are eligible to compete in the Men's Super Senior Division. Amateurs can NOT currently compete on a college or junior college team.
Divisions
An amateur can compete in one of six divisions (1) Men’s Gross; (2) Men’s Net; (3) Men’s Senior Gross; (4) Men's Super Senior Gross; (5) Women’s Gross; (6) Women’s Net
Qualifier Field & Format
144 players. 18-Hole Medal Play.
ENTRY FEES
Quailifier(s) - $50.00 (does not include cart fee)
Championship - $180.00 (2 rounds; does not include cart or caddie fees)
Tournament entry fee includes Championship green/range fees and hydrating beverages during rounds. All entry fees are payable in cash, cashier’s check, money order or credit card. Personal checks will be accepted. All players must have a valid social security number or tax identification number in order to enter the competition.
Exempt Player Deadline:
Thursday, July 12 at 3:00 p.m. CT. Priority will be given to exempt players in the order they are received up until the exempt player entry deadline. NOTE: Exempt players may submit entry forms after the priority deadline has passed and will be processed on a first come first served basis on a space available basis.

REFUNDS
All refund requests must be made prior to the entry deadline, after which refunds will not be granted. NOTE: A $25.00 administrative fee will be charged should a player cancel from the event.
STARTING TIMES
Round 1 starting times will be emailed to all players by Cedar Crest Golf Course. Round 1 starting times will also be available at iamagolfer.com by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 19.
TRANSPORTATION POLICY
Contestants and caddies will be required to walk during the Dallas Amateur Championship. Push carts will be allowed during the event.
MEASURING DEVICES PERMITTED
A player may obtain distance information by use of a distance-measuring device. If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his/her play (e.g., gradient, wind-speed, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule 14-3.
If you are uncertain about the legality of your distance measuring device, please consult a Rules Committee Member to verify the distance measuring device you are using is permitted.
GROOVE REGULATIONS
The new USGA Groove Regulations will not be in effect for the Dallas Amateur Championship.
NON-METAL SPIKES
Cedar Crest Golf Course and Trinity Forest Golf Club are non-metal spike facilities. Shoes with metal or ceramic spike(s) will not be permitted.
DRESS CODE
Proper golf attire is required during the Dallas Amateur Championship. and any applicable practice rounds. Contestants shall present a neat appearance, appropriate to the game of golf, in both clothing and grooming. Denim clothing shall not be worn at the host facility. Shorts and sleeveless and/or collarless shirts are considered appropriate attire.
All caddies are required to wear long pants or knee-length tailored shorts, and a collared shirt while at the host facility. Denim clothing, T-shirts, or shirts without collars shall not be worn. Caddies shall present a neat appearance in both clothing and personal grooming. Caddies shall wear smooth rubber-sole shoes preferably tennis or basketball shoes (golf spikes are not permitted).
PRACTICE ROUNDS
Practice Rounds for each Qualifier is for registered contestants only and may be booked up to 7 days in advance of the qualifier date in which the participant is registered for. Practice Rounds for the Championship will be provided via email to qualified participant by Sunday, July 15 at 3:00 pm.
Monday – Sunday (p.m. starting times only)
Practice Round at Cedar Crest: $28.00 (excluding cart fee and range balls)
Practice Round at Trinity Forest: $90 (excluding cart fee, caddie fee, and range balls)
NOTE 1: Practice rounds at Cedar Crest Golf Course will be available after 11:00 am. on Saturdays and Sundays.
NOTE 2: Participants will receive unlimited practice rounds for the Qualifiers at Cedar Crest Golf Course and one(1) practice round at Trinity Forest Golf Club.
